Potential Service Disruptions

Pope Francis will visit Washington, D.C. and New York City next Tuesday September 22 through Friday September 24, 2015.

During this period the U.S. Passport Office, embassies, and consulates are advising us of potential delays due to traffic restrictions in and around both cities. We are working closely with each government agency, including courier services such as FedEx and UPS to ensure timely processing of all application requests. As a pre-caution, please consider these possible delays when applying for your visa or passport.
